 SPIRITUAL TOURS (VAISHNO DEVI YATRA)
A pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji is considered to be one of the holiest pilgrimages of our times. Popular the world over as Moonh Maangi Muradein Poori Karne Wali Mata, which means, the Mother who fulfills whatever Her children wish for, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji resides in a Holy Cave located in the folds of the three peaked mountain named Trikuta (pronounced as Trikoot). The Holy Cave which is 30 mtrs long cave, attracts lakhs of devotees every year. In fact, the number of Yatris visiting the Holy Shrine annually now exceeds 5 million. This is due to the unflinching faith of the devotees who throng the Shrine from all parts of India and abroad.
The shrine of Vaishno Devi is approached from Katra, which is 13 KM from the shrine and is the base for the pilgrimage.
The Holy Cave of the Mother is situated at an altitude of 5200 ft. The Yatris have to undertake a trek of nearly 12 km from the base camp at Katra. At the culmination of their pilgrimage, the yatries are blessed with the Darshans of the Mother Goddess inside the Sanctum Sanctorum- the Holy Cave. These Darshans are in the shape of three natural rock formations called the Pindies. There are no statues or idols inside the Cave.
Best Time to Go:
The Vaishno Devi shrine is visited all through the year, but it is advised that yatra would be bit difficult in peak winters due to snowfall.
Important Note
To go on Vaishno devi yatra, you required to registered at the Yatra Registration Counter at the Tourism Reception Centre located at the Katra Bus Stand. The Yatra Slip is free but mandatory to commence the Yatra.
Day 01: Delhi - Jammu Tawi (By Train)
Upon arrival in Delhi, meet our local representative who will transfer you to the hotel.

Magnificent forts and edifices of the Mughal and the pre-Mughal era and the huge architectures of the Raj era have become the pride of Delhi. The cosmopolitan nature of the city has only added to the beauty and glory of it. Big gardens, wide roads, ancient structures, and power of politics is what Delhi is all about.

Day 02: Delhi – Jammu (air) – Katra – Vaishno Devi Shirne (13 km Trek one way)
Departure transfer to the airport to board the flight for Jammu. On arrival in Jammu , you will be driven for Katra and check-in at your hotel. Time at leisure to relax in the hotel.
Evening, start your trek (13 kms) to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. Upon arrival at the shrine, wash & change and perform darshan at the holy shrine. After performing darshan, start your trek back to Katra. Arrive katra in the morning and check-in at hotel. Rest in the hotel. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 03: Jammu - Delhi (By Train)
Morning city tour of Jammu visiting the famous Raghunath Mandir and shop in the local market. Evening departure transfer to the station in time to the Jammu Tawi Railway Station to board the overnight train for Delhi. Just experience the Indian railways
Overnight on board the train.
Day 04: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi in the morning and on arrival in Delhi, transfer to your place.
