Neemrana Fort

RAJASTHAN TOUR - 07 NIGHTS / 08 DAYS

(DELHI, NEEMRANA, JAIPUR, RUPANGARH, KUMBHALGARH, RANAKPUR, LUNI, KHIMSAR, MANDAWA)

 

Day 01:          Arrive Delhi, air
Arrive Delhi by flight and on arrival you will be welcomed by our local representative and will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Delhi - The capital of the vast, mystic subcontinent “ India”. A fine blend of old –n-new, ancient and modern Era. History of Delhi goes back to the days of Mahabharata, when it was known as the Indraprastha. It is surprising, indeed, that since that era this city has remained the capital of the country. 

Magnificent forts and edifices of the Mughal and the pre-Mughal era and the huge architectures of the Raj era have become the pride of Delhi.  The cosmopolitan nature of the city has only added to the beauty and glory of it. Big gardens, wide roads, ancient structures, and power of politics is what Delhi is all about.

Day 02;         Delhi – Neemrana (approx 125 kms/2 hrs)
Morning guided combined city tour of Delhi.

Morning proceed for guided city sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Red Fort - The magnificent fort in red sand stone was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1648 . Jama  Mosque,- the second largest Mosque in the world. You will also experience the a rickshaw ride through busy and historical Chandni Chowk-  this famous & oldest market of Old Delhi.

We make our way towards New Delhi and drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidents Palace and one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys) visit The India Gate: a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers, Laxmi Narayan Temple ( Birla Temple) - Built in 1938 by the prominent Indian Industrialist R. B. Birla . Humayun’s Tomb- Another magnificent Mughal building, the tomb of the emperor Humayun . Qutub Minar  - The imposing victory tower built in 12th century.

You will also get an opportunity to visit RAJ GHAT – where our Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

Neemrana, a tiny village in Alwar, is situated about 122Km from Delhi. The village has its own historical importance and is located about 75Km from the main Alwar city.

Day - 03 :      Neemrana - Jaipur (145 kms/3 hrs)
Morning drive for Jaipur and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Also known as the Pink City  is the first planned city of India, located in the desert lands of Rajasthan. The city that once had been the capital of the royalty, now serves as the capital city of Rajasthan. One can see that hoary charm still alive in the avenues of Jaipur. This city is world famous for the gems, jewellary and blue pottery and handicrafts.

Afternoon guided city tour of Jaipur.

Afternoon will be followed by guided city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace , Jantar Mantar at Jaipur is the largest stone observatory in the World . Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds is a major landmark and a famous tourist attraction of Jaipur. The Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen.

Amber Fort JaipurDay 04          Jaipur -  Roopengarh (approx 150 kms/2.5 hrs)
Morning excursion to Amber Fort. - Amber Fort - The Fort set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Constructed by Raja Man Singh I in 1952 and completed by Sawai Jai Singh I, is the classic and romantic fort- palace with a magnificent aura, which gives a majestic view of the city down below. You can have the Royal experience of ascending the fort of on elephant, not to be missed

Lateron drive for Roopengarh -- A journey to the abode of kings, and on arrival check-in at Roopengarh Fort.

The Roopangarh Fort was built in 1648 AD by Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh. It was basically a military structure that has been converted into a fine heritage hotel today. In spite of many new additions being made over the years, Roopangarh Fort has still managed to retain its old worldly charm and romantic appeal.

Kumbhalgarh FortDay 05 :        Roopangarh - Kumbhalgarh 
Morning drive for Kumbhalgarh and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Kumbhalgarh fort is the second most remarkable fortress in the whole Mewar region after Chittorgarh. Built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha , positioned strategically in relation to its neighbours of Gujarat and Marwar, the fort was also known as the eye of Mewar. The fort is encompassed by a 36 km long wall, which is claimed to be the longest in the world after “The Great Wall of China”.

The most picturesque part of the fort is Badal Mahal or the palace of clouds that affords spectacular views of the Kumbhalgarh valley.

Lateron visit Ranakpur Jain Temples - The beautifully sculptured Jain temples lie in a tranquil valley of the Aravallis. It has 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars, all distinctly carved.  Two jain temples dedicated to Neminath and Parsvanath and a Sun Temple a little distance away ,are also noteworthy.

Day 06 :        Kumbhalgarh – Luni (aspprox 30 kms /1/2 hrs)
Today morning visit Kumbhalgarh Fort. Lateron drive for Luni and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

About 35 kms from Jodhpur, Luni is a charming village that reflects the royal past of Rajasthan. The village, a quiet, unassuming place, is perfect for those stopovers. Located on the bed of river Luni, the village is a mirror image of the desert nearby - always peaceful, yet so vast and mysterious

Overnight at Hotel Fort Chanwa.

Fort ChanwaDay 07 :        Luni - Khimsar  (40 kms/1 hrs)
Today morning visit fort Chanwa Luni perched on the edge of the great Thar Desert  in the  heart of rural India lies this unique fort offering a wide  range of experience.

Lateron  you will be driven  to Khimsar and checkin at hotel.drive for Khimsar and on arrival check-in at hotel Royal Castle.

Khimsar- Reminder of romance and royality. Afternoon take jeep safari to the black buck sanctuary.

Day 08 :        Khimsar – Mandawa (approx 280 kms/6 hrs)
 Today  morning visit Khimsar Fort . The  compact and busy little  market  town  was settled  in  the  18th  century, and was  fortified  by  the  dominant Merchant  families. It has some of the finest painted Havelies in  the region

Shekhawati -The semidesert region of Shekhawati is a colourful fantasy having fascination uniquely of is own. 'The open air-art-gallery', as it is popularly called, is famous for its plethora of painted havelis, all commendable pieces of the rich artistic tradition of this region. The Shekhawati region is known for its beautifully painted havelis, in its nearly 20 towns and villages. Mandawa is one of them.

Day 09 :        Mandawa – Delhi (approx 295 kms/6 hrs).
Morning visit Mandawa . Besides the cenotaphs, wells, forts and temples the majority of frescoes are painted on the walls and gateways of havelis. The Shekhawati paintings mainly consist of red, green, yellow, brown, blue and mushroom colours. Mandawa, founded in the early 18th Century, is dominated by a rugged fort-turned-hotel.

Afternoon drive back for Delhi and on arrival straight drop at the International airport in time to board the flight for home-town
