Nestling between the fertile plains of Northern India and the cold deserts of Tibet, lies fascinating Nepal. A land of ancient history and culture, warmth and hospitality. The home of Buddhism, and the only Hindu kingdom in the world today.Rising up to meet the sky in his little nation are about a third of the Himalayan range, including ten of the greatest peaks in the world. So walk down the passage of time, take a trek in the mountains or just scroll through Kathmandu's colourful bazaars, and you'll know why travellers believe that one visit to Nepal, is merely the beginning of a fascination of a lifetime.

Day 01 :               Arrive Kathmandu , air
Arrive Kathmandu by flight. Arrival transfer and check-in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Kathmandu, the capital and largest city in Nepal, located in the eastern half of the country at an altitude of 1300 m (4266 ft). In recent years Kathmandu has experienced a massive migration to the city, and today has a population of over 600,000. Among its wealth of historic buildings it can boast the largest of the ancient royal palaces (and the newest) as well as innumerable Rana palaces and important shrines. Despite the growth which has made a modern city of Kathmandu, the old center still retains something of a medieval air. The day still begins with prayers and pujas in the temples and farmers still bring their fresh vegetables to market in enormous baskets.

Day 02:               Kathmandu
Morning excursion to Patan.

Durbar Square Patan ArchitecturePatan is also known as Lalitpur or the "city of fine arts and architecture" –is the oldest city in the valley. This Buddhist City is said to have been founded by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. is enclosed within 4 Buddhist stupas set on the four-corners of the outer boundaries of this ancient city. A tour of Patan would also include a visit to the Tibetan refugee village to witness the hand weaving of Tibetan carpets using age-old methods of dyeing and finishing.

Afternoon guided city tour of Kathmandu.

The city of Kathmandu has developed into a very popular tourist attraction in the recent years. The different Kathmandu tourist attractions include a number of durbars, caves, beautiful trekking areas and nearby tourist spots. One very renowned tourist spot is the durbar Square in Kathmandu has got some lovely wooden carvings. This site is a must visit place for all the travelers coming here.

Day 03                 Kathmandu
Morning excursion to Bhatgaon.

Bhaktapur or Bhadgaon meaning the "city of devotees" lies 14 km east of Kathmandu. It is the home of medieval art & architecture and still retains its rich medieval aroma. Also known for it's pottery and weaving. Bhaktapur is the most charming and the best preserved of the valley’s three cities. The intricately carved temples, alleyways and timeless atmosphere of this place is simply intriguing.

Afternoon visit Pasupatinath and Bodhanath.

Pasupatinath NepalPashupatinath  - It is situated 5 kms east of Kathmandu on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. The temple of lord Shiva, Pashupatinath, with a tiered golden roof & silver doors is famous for its superb architecture. Entrance to the temple precinct is forbidden to non-Hindus.
 
Bodhanath  - The stupa of Bodhanath lies 8 km east of Kathmandu. It is the biggest Stupa in Nepal and is located on flat land and encircled by houses & monasteries. This simple stupa is a ring of 108 images of the Buddha and 147 insets containing prayer wheels.   

Day 04                 Kathmandu – Chitwan
Morning drive for Chitwan National Park and on arrival check-in at your lodge/resort.

Chitwan National park, one of the richest and most well known wild life reserve in Asia, is situated 165 km overland or 25 minutes by air to the south-west of Kathmandu. The park covers an area of 932 sq. km and conserves more than 43 species of mammals, 450 out of total estimated 750 specifies of birds in Nepal, many varieties of butterflies and 45 species of amphibians and reptiles. The national park offers a unique ecosystem encompassing hills.

Day 05                 Chitwan-Pokhra
Morning again jungle safari and lateron drive for Pokhra and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Pokhra View of Snow Covered PeakPokhara is the third largest city in Nepal, 198 kms west of Kathmandu. It is the starting point for most of the treks in the Annapurna area. It is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Pokhara is situated in the northwestern corner of the Pokhara Valley.

Day 06:               Pokhra
Full day to explore the beauty of the place.
If Kathmandu is the cultural hub of Nepal, Pokhara is its center of adventure nad has got a remarkable natural beauty. An enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley, it is the starting point for many of Nepal's most popular trekking and rafting destinations.

Indeed, the valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, emerald lakes, and of course, the world famous views of the Himalaya.

Overnight at your hotel.

Day 07 Pokhra – Kathmandu – home-town
Morning drive back to Kathmandu and on arrival transfer to the airport in time to board the flight for onward destination.
