The rich folk culture and tribal traditions of this fascinating state, are manifested in the umpteen exuberant festivities, and Statue of Rani Jhansi, Gwalior fairs of its colourful people.

Day 01:          Delhi – Khajuraho, air
Arrive Khajuraho by air ex Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representative and transfer to your hotel.

Khujuraho-TempleKhajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, India is a famous tourist destination. Known world over for its magnificent Temple complexes, Khajuraho is a fascinating village showcasing rich cultural heritage of India In the temple architecture of India, the Khajuraho complex remains unique. Today, of the original 85, only 22 have survived the ravages of time; these remain as a collective paean to life, to joy and to creativity; to the ultimate fusion of man with his creator.

Afternoon guided  city tour of Khajuraho.

The Khajuraho temples were built during the reign of the Chandelas in 10th-11th century. The Khajuraho temples are marked by religious fervor, rich patronage, excellent craftsmanship, and aesthetic sensuality, depicting life in every form and mood. Originally there were 85 temples, but today less than 30 temples are in proper condition.

Day 02:         Khajuraho-Panna-Khajuraho , (57 kms one way/1 hrs)
Morning drive for same day trip to Panna National Park.

The Panna National Park is home to some of the best wildlife species in India and is one of the better Tiger Reserves in the country. The park is known worldwide for its wild cats, including tigers as well as deer and antelope. The Panna National Park is situated close to one of the best-known Indian tourist attractions in India, Khajuraho.

Panna is also famous for its diamond mining industry that makes it an interesting place to visit.

Return t0 Khgajuraho. Overnight at your hotel in Khajuraho.

Day 03:         Khajuraho – Orchha (180 kms/4 hrs)
Morning leave for Orchha and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

orchha's grandeurOrchha's grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time, a rich legacy to the ages. In this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries, situated along the Betwa river,   retain much of their pristine perfection. From here the view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs is spectacular.

Afternoon city tour of Orchha visiting  Ram Raja Temple,- Jahagir Mahal,- Chaturbhuj Temple,- Laxmi Temple,- Phool Bagshish Mahal, Badi Chhatrian, Rai Praveen Mahal, Keshav Bhawan.

Day 04:         Orchha-Shivpuri –Orchha (125 km one way/2.5rs)
Morning drive for same day trip to Shivpuri – A summer Resort.

Shivpuri is located in the central indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The district derives its name from God "Shiva". The district was known as Narwar district during the times of Gwalior State, although its Headquarter is at Shivpuri. It has a cool and dry climate.
Madhav National Park, Madhav Vilas Palace, Sakhya Sagar Boat Club, Bhadaiya Kund and Chhatris are a must see at Shivpuri.

Day 05:         Orchha -  Gwalior (120 kms/2 hrs)
Morning drive for Gwalior and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Gwalior-FortGwalior, the fort city of northern Madhya Pradesh, lives with splendour of the ancient glory that once was part of it. Even today the royalties of Gwalior live in the forts and the palaces. The Scindias retained it till the Independence. The impressions that all the dynasties left behind are still evident on the walls of Gwalior.

Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 06:         Gwalior
Morning city tour of Gwalior visiting massive hilltop fort dominating the city and encloses several interesting monuments. The Man Mandir Palace, Karan Mahal and Jahangiri Mahal are nearby palaces worth visiting. Over 30 meters (100 feet) high, the ninth-century Teli Temple combines southern architecture with northern decorative motifs. The twin Sas Bahu Temples are graceful example of 11th-century temple architecture. Gujari Mahal, below the fort, built by Raja Man Singh for his favourite queen, is now an archaeological museum.

Day 07:         Gwalior – Delhi –home-town, train/air
Departure transfer to the station in time to board the train for Delhi and on arrival transfer to the International airport in time to board the flight for onward destination.
