Day 01:                Arrive Delhi, air
Arrive Delhi by flight. On arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed by our local representative and will be transferred to the hotel.

Delhi - The capital of the vast, mystic subcontinent “ India”. A fine blend of old –n-new, ancient and modern Era. History of Delhi goes back to the days of Mahabharata, when it was known as the Indraprastha. It is surprising, indeed, that since that era this city has remained the capital of the country. 

Magnificent forts and edifices of the Mughal and the pre-Mughal era and the huge architectures of the Raj era have become the pride of Delhi.  The cosmopolitan nature of the city has only added to the beauty and glory of it. Big gardens, wide roads, ancient structures, and power of politics is what Delhi is all about.

Day 02 :              Delhi
Morning proceed for guided city sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Red Fort - The magnificent fort in red sand stone was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1648 . Jama  Mosque,- the second largest Mosque in the world. You will also experience the a rickshaw ride through busy and historical Chandni Chowk-  this famous & oldest market of Old Delhi.

We make our way towards New Delhi and drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidents Palace and one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys) visit The India Gate: a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers, Laxmi Narayan Temple ( Birla Temple) - Built in 1938 by the prominent Indian Industrialist R. B. Birla . Humayun’s Tomb- Another magnificent Mughal building, the tomb of the emperor Humayun . Qutub Minar  - The imposing victory tower built in 12th century.

You will also get an opportunity to visit RAJ GHAT – where our Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

Day 03 :              Delhi – Jhansi – Orchha-Khajuraho
Morning departure transfer to the station in time to board the shatabdi for Jhansi

Depart : Delhi                    0615 hrs               New Delhi Shatabdi # 2002
Arrive : Jhansi                   056 hrs

Assistance on arrival and straight drive for Khajuraho enroute visiting Orchha.

A village of Prithvipor tehsil, Orchha is situated on the Betwa river. The finest of these are the Raj Mandir and Jahagir Mahal. Orchha is famous religious centre of Hindus. It is known for its religious and cultural heritage.

The following places are famous in the town :  Ram Raja Temple,- Jahagir Mahal,- Chaturbhuj Temple,- Laxmi Temple,- Phool Bagshish Mahal, Badi Chhatrian, Rai Praveen Mahal, Keshav Bhawan.

The world famous Khajuraho temples were built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD.. The famous erotic temples of Khajuraho form one of the most popular tourist attractions in India. Built between AD950 and 1050 by the kings of the Chandela, the site originally possessed 85 temples, of which 20 are still reasonably preserved.

Day 04:               Khajuraho – Jhansi- Agra

The most important are the Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. The Mahadev Temple, Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest and most typical of temples. Visit the Eastern group of temples that consist of the Parasvanath Temple - the only Jain Temple, surviving at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum, the Javeri Temple dedicated to Vishnu.

After city tour, drive for Jhansi and on arrival transfer to the station in time to board the train for Agra.

Arrive : Agra                       2230 hrs

Day 05 :              Agra – Jaipur (250 kms/5.5hrs)
Morning guided city tour of Agra.

Taj Mahal– A Monument of Love  - The Taj Mahal stands serene and perfect in its garden of cypresses and reflecting pools on the banks of the River Yamuna.. The Taj in all its timeless beauty was built by Shahjehan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years to complete — a symbol of eternal love .

Agra Fort - Where history takes a new birth.: Few forts in the world have a more fascinating story to tell than the Great Fort of Agra. 

Sikandra - A fusion of art and spiritualism - The mausoleum of Emperor Akbar Completed in 1613 A.D., it is one of the most well-preserved monuments

Afternoon drive for Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri- a phantom city. A red sand stone city of yesteryears. But the inner citadel is immaculately preserved. Its walls, palaces, baths, royal mint, courts and gardens still stand in splendid homage to a great visionary and builder. The heart of the palace complex however, is very much alive.

On arrival in Jaipur, check-in at your hotel.

Jaipur also known as the Pink City  is the first planned city of India, located in the desert lands of Rajasthan. The city that once had been the capital of the royalty, now serves as the capital city of Rajasthan. One can see that hoary charm still alive in the avenues of Jaipur. This city is world famous for the gems, jewellary and blue pottery and handicrafts.

Day 06 :              Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort - The Fort set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend ofHawa Mahal Hindu and Mughal architecture. Constructed by Raja Man Singh I in 1952 and completed by Sawai Jai Singh I, is the classic and romantic fort- palace with a magnificent aura, which gives a majestic view of the city down below. You can have the Royal experience of ascending the fort of on elephant, not to be missed .
 
Afternoon will be followed by guided city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace , Jantar Mantar at Jaipur is the largest stone observatory in the World . Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds is a major landmark and a famous tourist attraction of Jaipur. The Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen.

Day 07:               Jaipur – Pushkar (130 kms/2.5 hrs)
Morning drive for Pushkar and on arrival check-in at your hotel.

Afternoon guided city tour of Pushkar .

Pushkar , which is 14 kms from Ajmer, is the abode of Lord Brahma, lying to its west with a temple and a picturesque lake. The Pushkar Lake is a sacred spot for Hindus.

Day 08:               Pushkar – Ajmer – Delhi (approx 400 kms/8 hrs)
Morning drive for Delhi enroute visiting Ajmer.

South west of Jaipur, Ajmer is an oasis wrapped in the green hills. day, Ajmer is a popular pilgrimage centre for the Hindus as well as Muslims. Especially famous is the Dargah Sharif-tomb of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, which is equally revered by the Hindus and Muslims.

The places of interests are The Dargah,  Adhai-din-ka-jhonpra

Lateron drive for Delhi and on arrival straight drop at the international airport to board the flight for home-town.
