History has forged, and left behind vital links with the state, as is evident from the many edifices, monuments and architectural ruins, the legacy of dynasties as old as 300 B.C.  Situated south of the Vindhyas, it shares a common history with its neighbours, Maharashtra , Orissa , Madhya Pradesh , Tamil Nadu and Karnataka . The medieval city of Hyderabad is its capital.

Day 1:            Arrive Hyderabad , air
Arrive Hyderabad by flight. Meeting on arrival and transfer to hotel.

Once a medieval city, Hyderabad is a modern metropolis. Fortunately, gourmets have not let the Deccani cuisine, the Hyderabadi biryani in particular, pass into legend.
Hyderabad can very well be called a tourists' paradise.

Hyderabad city,.Located in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, the city houses a plethora of attractions. The beauty of the nature and the wonder of the moment, there is every thing to please the eye and pull the feet. So if you want to soothe your eyes with the scenic view of an old monument against the backdrop of an evening sky with the flavor of local food tickling your taste buds, come and visit the famous tourist attractions of Hyderabad.

Afternoon guided city tour of Hyderabad. Begin your trip with the historic Charminar that lies right in the heart of Hyderabad. The monument is so famous; it is almost synonymous with Hyderabad. Next, head on to the famous Golconda fort. Yes, the famous Kohinoor diamond was extracted from here. Visit famous Qutub Shahi tomb, amalgamation of Indian and Persian architecture.  Visit The Raymond's tomb ,built in the memory of a French General. Do not miss the Salar Jung museum. It boasts of a single man collection of over 40,000 artifacts from all over the world.

Day 2:            Hyderabad - Nagarjuna Sagar - HyderabadNagarjuna Konda
Morning proceed to the famous Nagarjuna Sagar Dam. You will also see the Nagarjuna Konda and Nagarjuna Konda Museum here.

Afternoon visit the Ethipothala Waterfalls  - waterfalls in Nagarjuna Sagar is a jubilant of the power and beauty of Nature.

Also visit  Anupu-- 4 Km from the dam site, was chosen for relocation of a Bhuddist University.

Return back to Hyderabad. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 3:            Hyderabad
Full day visit well-known Ramoji Film City. It will take about two hours to look around the Ramoji Film City,  followed by a visit to the IMAX Theater, and Snow world, where you will experience the magic of snow.

Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4:            Hyderabad - Warangal – Hyderabad
Morning drive for same day excursion to Warangal - a city of stone temples and forts, wildlife and scenic beauty. Visit its impressive Warangal fort . Some of the most striking relics of the south lie scattered here in the midst of grassy hills and forests.

Then visit the three concentric shrines to Vishnu, Shiva and Surya in the Thousand Pillared Temple - another striking example of ornate Kakatiya architecture.

Return back to Hyderabad. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 5:            Hyderabad - Visakhapatnam , Air
Departure transfer to the airport in time to board the flight for Vizag. Arrival transfer and check-in at hotel .Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, popularly known as Vizag- biggest ship building yard in India, is a booming industrial located on the eastern shore of India nestled among the Eastern Ghats Hill Ranges and facing the Bay of Bengal on the East. In addition to being a major port handling high volume of cargo, it has developed oil refining, fertilizer, petro-chemical, steel plant, sugar refining and jute industries.

 Day 6:                        Vishakhapatnam
Borra CavesMorning proceed to explore the Borra caves and the spectacular Araku Valley.

Borra Caves - The million year-old limestone Borra Caves, is situated at about 56 miles north of  Vizag, situated at a height of 1400 mts above sea level and occupying an area of 2 square kilometers is filled with fascinating stalagmite and stalactite formations of calcium deposits. The Gosthani  river flows through the caves between the formations.

The Aruku Valley- beautiful valley , situated 30km north from Borra caves is home to a number of tribal communities.

Later on drive back to Visakhapatnam and overnight at your hotel.

Day 7:            Visakhapatnam
Full day city tour of Vishapatnam visiting  Dolphin's nose - the rocky promontory with a cliff rising 174m above the sea is the most prominent sight in Vizag.

Fort -The fort, constructed in 1661 by the Dutch forms the oldest part of the city

Sri Venkateswara Konda- Sri Venkateswara Konda or hill on the south, has a temple dedicated to LordVenkateswara.

Darga Konda- The north hill Darga Konda, has a mosque and the mausoleum of the Muslim saint, Baba Ishaq Madina, revered for his prophecies and venerated by Hindu and Muslim devotees alike.

Rama Krishna Beach- located 5km this beach is a great spot to spend time leisurely. The submarine museum here is one of its kind in the country. Sri Ramakrishna mission Ashram is located nearby.

Kilasagiri Hill Park- Gliders paradise, situated at an altitude of 360ft. on Mount Kailash, a charming hillock on the sea front. The magnificent statues of Shiva- Parvathi are illuminated at night and is worth seeing.
 
Visakha Museum- Located on the Beach road, Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation museum has historical treasures and artifacts of the region, housed in 150 year old architecturally impressive Dutch Bungalow

Bheemli VizagBheemili or Bhimulipatanam - Bheemunipatnam popularly known as 'Bheemli' is located at a distance of 24 Kilometers North east of Visakhapatnam.  The beautiful beach at Bheemli is considered to be one of the safest and calmest for swimmers.

Day 8:            Visakhapatnam – Delhi / Mumbai – onward destination, air
Departure transfer to the airport in time to board the flight for Delhi or Mumbai and from there a take a connecting flight for your home-town.
